The K2RF Radio Testing Facility

The following photographs are the of the radio site that is owned and operated by K2RF Incorporated.   The site, located near Portland Oregon, includes a Valmont / Microflect 80 foot self-supporting tower, 2 communication equipment shelters and 1 battery / backup power shelter.  All products designed by K2RF, go through extensive testing and burn-in on various Amateur and Commercial radio repeaters before they are released for production.  The products are cycled through the elaborate system of the Western Oregon Radio Club (WORC) which serves the entire metropolitan Portland area.  In addition, the WORC is tied into the Evergreen Intertie, one of the largest link of repeaters in the United States; covering the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and British Columbia.  

The K2RF radio site is the home of the KJ7IY 2m and 70cm repeaters, KC7STO 6m repeater, WB2QHS Amateur Television repeater, K7IQI packet hub, and various commercial repeaters..
